Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

Welcome to SimpliWeb, operated by Carassius Productions (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By subscribing to our services, you (“the client”) agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions.

2. Services Provided

SimpliWeb offers a subscription-based website service, including hosting, a choice of pre-designed templates, branding customisation, AI-generated content (excluding blogs), commercial imagery from Unsplash, three design revisions, basic content updates (under 30 minutes), a form builder plugin, and assistance with domain redirection.

3. Exclusions

Our services do not include blog article creation, eCommerce integration, API integration, design changes beyond the chosen template, more than three revisions, page builders, or premium plugins. These features may be available for additional fees.

4. Payment & Subscription

  • Payment is via bank transfer, invoiced in advance either monthly or annually, dependant on contracyed agreement.
  • The minimum subscription term is three (3) months.
  • Failure to pay within 14 days results in the suspension of updates and contact form functionality.
  • After four (4) weeks of non-payment, the site enters maintenance mode.
  • After three (3) months of non-payment, the site is archived. Recovery incurs a $500 fee plus overdue payments.
  • Archived sites are held for 12 months before deletion.

5. Ownership & Cancellation

  • Clients gain full ownership of their website after $5,000 in cumulative payments.
  • Early exits require a prorated fee (e.g., after 3 months, $3,500 must be paid).
  • Upon termination, clients receive a ZIP file of their site, with a 7-day window before archival.
  • Branding credits in the footer are required unless a $1,500 removal fee is paid.

6. Content & Compliance

  • Clients may supply content or request modifications to AI-generated content.
  • Clients must provide legal notices and compliance documents; we do not offer legal advice.

7. Hosting & Security

  • Daily database backups and weekly full-site backups are stored locally and on Google Drive.
  • Sites are monitored for uptime and repaired if hacked at no cost to the client.

8. Support & Maintenance

  • Support requests should be made via our online ticketing system; email is available as a backup.
  • Face-to-face support is not available.
  • Content updates (under 30 minutes) are included; larger updates are billed at $45/hour.

9. Amendments

We reserve the right to update these terms as necessary. Clients will be notified of any changes.
